Our motto is 'TEAM', together everyone achieves more. Everything we do is based around those words. We believe that for children to benefit fully from their education, teachers, support staff, parents and the children themselves must work together to make learning a fulfilling experience. We care that our children are happy and enjoy coming to the school, but we also care that we set and maintain very high standards in everything we do.
The Headteacher and staff aim to provide a broad-based education of excellent quality. It aims to engender within the school a caring and sharing ethos where children, parents and staff feel welcome, valued and respected.
We value the individuality of our young people and recognise their unique needs and aspirations. Learners of all abilities and talents thrive at our school, gaining the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes to make a real and genuine contribution to society.
Our school works in close partnership with the families of children in our school to ensure that every child, every day, learns and achieves.

At Carleton Park J&I School we believe that all adults and children who enter our school have equal worth. We encourage our pupils to achieve success by aiming high and realising their talents in a climate where achievements are recognised and all contributions valued and shared. We believe that education is a partnership between all staff, children, families and that it is at its most effective when there is close co-operation between home and school and value the contributions you can make to your child's learning journey.
All aspects of school life are firmly rooted in Christian principles. We aim to ensure that pupils are given a secure, well-ordered school which will allow for their spiritual, emotional and intellectual growth. Our aim is to develop “the education of the whole person which not only enhances the dignity of the individual, but in the long term promotes the common good in society and in the worldwide human community.”
St Joseph’s is a welcoming learning community with Christ at its heart. We have been an academy since November 2012, as part of the wider ‘Bishop Konstant’ Catholic Academy Trust. Learning through Christ is at the heart of our school mission, and this was affirmed when we were judged as ‘outstanding in all areas’, both in our 2012 Ofsted and R.E. Inspection. We have supportive parents; wonderful, well behaved, enthusiastic children and a very supportive Governing body. We work hard to ensure we are a central part of the community of St Joseph’s and the community of the PET.
At Cobblers Lane Primary School we work together as a committed team to provide a happy, secure and stimulating environment where children are motivated to learn, are valued as individuals and encouraged to reach their full potential. We do this to prepare our children for adult life and assist them in becoming successful life-long learners, confident individuals, and responsible members of the community.
Halfpenny Lane is happy, healthy & exciting place to learn. OfSTED rate us a 'Good' with 'Outstanding Leadership, Management, Behaviour & Safety'. We are very much a ‘family’ school: we cultivate and nurture attitudes of support, respect and care in all our activities and relationships and for all our children. Equally important is learning. We set high standards in everything we do and strongly believe in the importance of the core skills of reading, writing and mathematics.
At Halfpenny Lane, we also believe that primary school education is an experience that all children should enjoy to the full. We therefore offer a broad and balanced curriculum: sports, the arts and computer technology are strengths in our school. This helps our children to become positive and active citizens.
Our approach to education is holistic; we are concerned for the whole child - mind, body and spirit. We offer an exciting and challenging education for all. SMSC (Spiritual, Moral, Social, and Cultural) is threaded through all curriculum areas, activities and collective worship. We celebrate our pupils' achievements in all areas and recognise that every individual has different strengths and talents. We encourage positive attitudes towards learning and behaviour, setting high aspirations and challenging every child to be the best that they can be.
At Badsworth we work hard to meet the many and varying needs of all our children, fostering their academic, physical, social, moral, spiritual and cultural development. Strong Christian values and our CARE aim, where all members of the school community consider and respect everyone as Jesus taught us, underpins the life and work of the school. We aim to provide a Christian environment in which the children can develop into thoughtful and caring people, with respect for themselves, each other and the world around them and where we promote consideration for, and understanding of, all cultures and faiths of the world.
